"The accident in the season opener, and being forced to miss several races, put us behind the curve and after all the hard work the team has put into the car this season it feels great to reward those guys with a podium today."

Building on his eighth place finish one day earlier, Ryan Justice, of Canby, Oregon, captured his first Indy Pro Series podium finish in the #38 Lifelock Lucas Oils Sam Schmidt Motorsports Dallara with a second place run in the Valley of the Moon 100. Leading for much of the event, Justice dropped back to second with two laps remaining after a valiant effort to hold off eventual race winner Richard Antinucci.
